life as a shoe
In my eyes, life as a shoe is quite a hassle. Being schlepped around from the closet, to the streets, to their family gathering, back to the house, then out again, out to the local grocery, all the way to the train station, through the train, off the train, over to the office buildings, back to the train station, off the train again, and back to where i started, the closet. What a day. Shoes have such a short life span. I'm sure that ill be like all the other shoes where the routine goes on everyday for about a year until i get thrown in the trash or some one tries to sell me at a neighborhood yard sale. "Its a hard know life for us." These days seem so long. Everything around me feels dirty. People should stop putting all their garbage on the ground. Between the gum, bags, cigarette buds, old food, and even the animal droppings that make my "bottom half" filthy. People even step on me sometimes. I hate it when my other half, my twin Lefty, is used to get me off their foot. Stepping on me, pulling me, trying to just slip me off rather than just sitting down and using their hands. do they know what we have to go through everyday? i really dont think they do. Shoes should be treated with more respect. its hard to go all day on the smelly feet of some person that you know nothing about. i mean i guess they chose me, a smaller, laced, pretty shoe with the nice plum color with the scattered gold coloring. i mean can you blame them? Most people buy shoes based on their style and personality. the way im designed makes all the other shoes jealous. dont be haten on my style.
